Imagine if we did not have any lines on our roads? Or car parks? If there were no road markings, city street, freeways or car park line markings it would soon become deathly on our roads and off our roads! ☹
I know that we all get frustrated when we see them remarking the roads and normally this means traffic jams and these days we don’t like waiting, but if councils don’t line mark the roads it would be deadly, so here are a few reasons why we should still line mark our roads, car parks and streets.
Road Safety
If we did not have road markings, then cars would not know which side to stick to and when they should exit freeways. Imagine trying to park your car and there are no car park markings? Shopping centres would get very interesting very quickly and I can just see the chaos! Line marking serves a purpose and without having our roads and car parks lined marked we would be putting lives at risk.
Sporting Facilities
Line marking is used for nearly all sports like soccer, football, basketball and hockey, without the use of line marking in sport there would be total chaos within the game! How would we know who scored? Line marking has been used for many years and is still the only way to safety mark out areas like sports facilities.
